First NWG meeting in Cambodia

On 17 February the first national working group meeting (NWG) for Cambodia took place virtually. It was attended by six participants, representing academia and research institutions, CSOs, and media.

During the introductory meeting, the purpose of the NWG in Cambodia and ways forward were discussed more in depth. Kevin Socquet-Clerc attended the meeting as DCAF's Project Officer for Southeast Asia to help clarify questions, introduce DCAF as organisation, and assist in setting guidelines for future NWG meetings. The first follow-up meeting has been planned in 3 weeks time, on 6 March 2021.
