2022 Asia-Pacific Security Sector Governance Regional Forum

On the week of 26 September the Asia-Pacific Security Sector Governance Network convened in Bali, Indonesia for its first in-person forum since the outbreak of the pandemic. Two dozen representatives from APU’s partner institutions across the region and from APU itself, as well as several attendees joining online, took part in a series of discussions on topics such as maritime security sector governance and reform, shrinking democratic spaces and SSG/R, and the EU’s “Enhancing Security Cooperation in and with Asia (ESIWA)” project.
