The 14th Inter-Parliamentary Forum on Security Sector Governance in Southeast Asia (IPF-SSG) took place in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar, on 05-07 December 2017. The Forum focused on the topic “Security Sector Governance in Transition Societies: Working Towards Effective and Accountable Security Provision”, with a special emphasis on the joint identification of SSG impasses experienced by transition societies and their security sectors in pursuing good security sector governance.
